yeah, I have such mixed feelings about the Pitt. I watched every episode and loved the feeling of being seen and that it conveyed so much of what is hard about our jobs but I also am not sure it was personally good for me to experience watching the episodes and having the feelings it activated

Almost certainly a -60 or -6. 160th doesn't have organic AH-64s or AH-1Zs

You can’t tell me this wouldn’t be amazing
I don’t normally like gimmick football feed channels but I would love a main broadcast feed with an inset showing Cignetti’s face at all times

If the kid got shot (a real risk, let’s be honest) you’d probably feel pretty bad for a long time

I don't want thick blood pouring through my heart. I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?

You could call the cops about an unsupervised child with a firearm. Probably an equally effective lesson with less personal risk

Everyone would learn an important lesson if you tackled the kid and disarmed him

Seems like it would radically disincentivize saving? Like if you had a large savings and a catastrophic medical event occurs it’s wiped out, but if you’d spent it (and even had debt?) tax payers eat much of the bill?

be careful
Just put three stitches in my neighbors thigh in his kitchen after he cut it open with a hand axe making a fire for their fire place. Merry Christmas!

My 6 year old told me, and this is a verbatim quote, “Dad I think you might get cooked if you race me at Mario Kart.”

Their confidence is now a shambles

Yah I had to open up a bunch of boxes last night, charge things, and put them back in boxes.

My ten year old was in the other room eating Cup O Noodles and spilled them and yelled and every horrifying ramen burn from the burn ICU and PICU I’ve cared for flared in my mind. Fortunately just got a little on her leg and she’ll be fine. Made a big mess tho

I think it’s great the internet is passing around the CECOT piece but let’s be real: the number of people whose minds can be changed that are also technologically literate enough to watch it this way rounds to zero. They didn’t want Boomers and Xers seeing it. No one else watches 60 Minutes anyway

BRENNAN: Doesn't the administration claim it was the country that paid that?

FWIW Every service member, from E4 to O6, I’ve talked to about this was gobsmacked that the money actually showed up and all of them saw it clearly for the cheap (no pun intended) stunt that it is.

A responsible follow up question to such a revelation would be “which 10%?”
Rep. Garcia says only 10% of total Epstein files was released today

TEN PERCENT
The DOJ is breaking the law by not releasing the full Epstein files. This is not transparency. This is just more coverup by Donald Trump and Pam Bondi. They need to release all the files, NOW.

U.S. plans to stop recommending most childhood vaccines, defer to doctors
The plan, which is not finalized, suggests children get fewer shots and shifts to a model telling parents to consult doctors to make their own vaccine choices.
