Day 3 at #wcbr2025 - lots of dopamine, acetylcholine, dorsal and ventral striatum, midbrain circuits and motivated behaviors. Learning so much from such a diverse group of scientists from single dendrite in vivo 2P imaging to high density recordings and modeling 🧠🤯 the field is moving so fast!

In this study, we explored the neuronal heterogeneity of the mouse medial septum and diagonal band of Broca using scRNA-Seq + validated our findings by comparing them to a MERFISH dataset from the Allen Brain Atlas.

I finally took the time to read @neurograce.bsky.social's book and it was a real pleasure!

Amazingly written, it spans a century of neuroscience experiments and highlights how other fields have contributed to our understanding of the brain.
