At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.

Look, while I'm not 100% sure if it's my cup of tea (as I've yet to see the pilot) I'm hoping that STARFLEET ACADEMY succeeds in finding an audience and it draws in a lot of young people who want their own Trek to take them into the 21st century, one that's not tied to nostalgia. I hope it's fun!
