This guy's problem is that he doesn't listen to women. Just tunes them out.
Having the correct positions on various issues is not sufficient to make a good candidate. Harris was terrible because she could not express a compelling story of why she should be president. If we could read her mind, it wouldn't surprise me if she simply thought it was her turn.

All this talk about MTG and her possible changes in position makes me wonder why it should matter. I would assume that most of those commenting would never vote for her no matter the office she seeks. I certainly would not.

For 50 years the right has been telling us that the appropriate response to this is to open fire on these goons. They say we need assault weapons as a bulwark against a tyrannical government snatching people off the streets.

Excellent article by @nicholasgrossman.bsky.social taking issue with @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social's recent “[Charlie] Kirk was practicing politics in exactly the right way” article. As Grossman says, the MSM "are adamantly opposed to recognizing bad faith". This is exactly the problem.

Is Trump trying to make America less attractive to immigrants by making its citizens poorer, destroying its health and educational systems, and generally making it a nastier place to live for non-rich folk? Sure seems like it.
