it always bothers me that they wrote Jean-Luc Picard as a French character and cast an English actor. Just write him to be English. Everything about Picard feels English and very little feels french. It's would have been fine!!!

Whenever a game dev says they left AI slop in it by accident because it was placeholder, you should call bullshit because that's not what placeholders are for. A placeholder SHOULD NOT blend in. The entire point is to recognize it as such at a glance.

Do NOT use AI art as placeholders. It's terrible practice. Placeholder assets are meant to be obvious. If you use a placeholder asset that vaguely looks like the intended final asset, you ***will*** forget it's there. And QA can't read your mind.

I've been told the ending of chains of memories is essential to understanding the start of Kingdom Hearts 2 and I'm tempted to play Kingdom hearts 2 right now before seeing anymore of CoM because I'm convinced people are exaggerating and I can figure it out fine with context clues.

Started up the first release of FFVIIR on the PS4 out of curiosity and it's interesting how every character has so much more animation lock. The PS5 upgrade and then Rebirth really got me used to being able to cancel out of almost anything with a basic dodge. Combat feels much slower paced.

it'd be cool if we could all collectively stop giving this fucking show any attention whatsoever. I'm fuckin tired of hearing people argue this or that game got snobbed by the sentient bag of chips with rich friends.

Actually, one thing I want to mention re:Arkham Knight. I couldn't get it to happen in my recent playthrough but I stg Alfred has a throwaway line about the army invading Gotham being a private military company from *Venezuela*. Would it shock you to learn this game is contemporary with CoD:Ghost?

I always hear Arkham Asylum is the tightest one of the trilogy but having replayed the whole thing recently I don't think I agree.
Asylum feels like a first rough draft. City feels like the correct size and complexity. Knight is the one that completely ballooned out of proportions.

Dynamic mode was a step in the right direction but I need FF7R part 3 to have a difficulty mode where bosses have enough health to let their song do at least one full loop against a player who knows what they're doing.

I love vampire stories that are like hey all those inconvenient rules like "the sun kills you" or "you can't eat normal food anymore" aren't actually true but you still get to be super strong and immortal. Like ok you just want all the upsides and none of the downsides huh.
