The House already passed four constitutional amendments on Day 1:
—protect abortion rights
—repeal the same-sex marriage ban
—allow mid-decade redistricting
—greatly expand voting rights restoration.

Her 9 yr. sentence was "harsh," and it's entirely b/c she talked herself into it by being unrepentant and defiant. If she'd shown even the slightest bit of contrition she'd probably be out already or close to it. "I did nothing wrong and I'd do it again" is supposed to get you a harsher sentence.
