You should be paying attention to Tennessee.

The congressional race in the state’s seventh congressional district, which includes Nashville, is where cracks in Trump’s base are starting to show.

Here is Trump's full 28 point plan for Ukraine. It would destroy Ukraine as a sovereign state and leave it helpless to face a Russian attack in the future. It would also give Putin full vindication and immunity from prosecution.

Btw, in case you have not noticed it--the last few hours have confirmed one thing. The alliance of dictators and autocrats is no longer notional--it is now up and running. The remaining democratic states in the world have to react now.

Well, once again it was shown that Trump's "support" for Ukraine was a con. He has been working with Putin in secret to craft a "peace" deal which the US and Russia will now try to shove down Ukrainian and European throats. Just sent out this free piece. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

We don’t spend enough time talking about how massively increasing wealth inequality has insulated our oligarchic class not just from consequences but from reality, too. This is true whether we’re talking about Thiel ranting about the anti Christ of Summers trying to coerce a grad student.
Larry Summers was emailing with Jeffrey Epstein up until a day before he was arrested (again).

But like lol of course they do
I refuse to believe that Larry Summers' expertise and skills are indispensable in any way. Please find another economist and policy expert, @americanprogress.bsky.social. There are loads out there.

No matter where the corruption scandal lands... support for the Ukrainian people must continue. Putin's invasion must fail.

Europe better step up because the US - still in tRump's grip - is forgetting what it's role should be.

53% of Americans believe billionaires are a threat to American democracy.

Meanwhile, just 100 billionaire families spent $2.6 billion on federal elections last year — a 160-fold increase since Citizens United.

The people know: billionaires should not be able to buy our elections.

This is a good question. Reuters reports Trump admin has hired 50,000 workers, primarily in immigration enforcement.

For context, that's equivalent to the total number of job losses in Health & Human Services, Veterans Affairs, USAID and Interior COMBINED, per the Partnership for Public Service
