#UK Looking at how they've defined "news publishers", it would appear that this definition would exclude Meta, Google, YouTube, MSN, X, Bsky and Apple. But most people nowadays gather their news from any of the channels I mention and so they should be held accountable in some shape or form.

"not about truth and falsehood" claims Vallely, who repeats a lie and a half-truth in the very first paragraph, is misleading in several others, then plunges straight into prejudiced fearmongering tropes by the end.

He consults ChatGPT, but no actual trans people of course.

Fun as it is to see the Libs finally realising they’ve been diddled, it’s also deeply aggravating. We all love a sinner who repenteth etc but it was absolutely crystal clear ten years ago that they were exactly like this, that they had no ideas except for crackdowns, cruelty and flag-fucking.

The fun part here is that people who don’t like migrants largely believe this because they’re constantly screamed at about menacing immigrants from every TV, radio and news stand, and the whole reason that’s done is to discourage people from noticing who it is that gets most of the money, and how.

The Elan-Cane case was a trans rights case and also happened to be the landmark on how domestic human rights law may evolve. The court says it can’t evolve.

The EHRC has remained silent for four years.

I now assume it’s because this is pretty much how quite a lot of important people behave, off camera, and that almost nobody thinks being a bastard to Diane Abbott is even bad: what’s really bad, is getting caught doing it.
Can anyone explain why a man who was sacked, just a few months ago, for sending messages like these, is now being treated as some kind of all-seeing political sage?
