Glad @ttcriders.bsky.social's call for much needed fare capping on the #TTC is getting the attention it deserves. It was featured in today's @thestar.com column by @graphicmatt.com! #TOpoli www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...
Matt Elliott: The TTC is still short millions of riders. Fare capping could help bring them back
A TTC report shows a simple fare capping system could add more than half of the pandemic ridership lost, bringing back 51.6 million rides annually.

We're so excited for the bike lane on Harbord to be done (not just because it means the end of construction). It's going to make the street feel so much nicer having those in. Hopefully we start getting more elsewhere as well.

This remains a very silly law. Most pedestrian signals only show a very short walk sign before switching to a long countdown. Complying with the letter of this law would mean pedestrians have to wait a whole light cycle at almost every intersection before crossing. www.thestar.com/news/gta/e-s...

I waste a lot of time browsing Zillow and don't understand the American preference for larger generic home (3k - 10k sq feet) instead of smaller home with beautiful architecture (1.5 - 3k sq feet)

And one final thought: Ozzy going out after giving an emotional final performance that raised a ton of money for charity is more spiritually uplifting and did more genuine good than anything any televangelist and religious grifter who railed against him ever did combined.

Happening today!

The London premieres of The Purpose of an Empty Room & Familiar Spaces, performed by David Zucchi, and Open Union (Patrick Ellis, Peter Bell).

My first time in London, and a portrait concert to boot! If you’re around, come out and hear some wobbly, droney, microtonal sounds!

Toronto is, in fact, a world class city, and various regional political dynamics serve to undermine it, and hold it back from further greatness.
