My latest art quilt "gentle moon" seeks to capture the quiet of the moonlight shining through the soft blues of the marsh grasses swaying in the breeze. 12.5 by 60 inches. #artquilt #pieced #wallhanging #nautical #bureauscarf #etsy #original

All done. I bought the fabric in 2021 when my very special black cat was dealing with aggressive cancer, so it always makes me think of her. It has been my fall project for a while. I started piecing in 2022, finished the top last year, and quilted it this year

i miss joanns as much as the next guy but nothing beats going in to your local fabric store and seeing the quilts the owner made with her own two hands hanging all around and yapping about the projects you’re working on

Finally got time to hang one of my mum’s art quilts: “Northern Lights”. Loved this the first time I saw it. So happy it’s now on one of my walls.

A small 12"x12" abstract fabric collage inspired by aerial landscapes of summer fields.

This is one in a series of small studies for a bigger piece I'm working on. I'm exploring the interplay of quilting and piecing to get the feeling I want.

#quiltsky I’ve added a blueberry swirl to my collection of colorways. I’ve been mulling cutting them up and creating collages with them because I can’t think of anything else to do with them.
