The 2008 election was my first as a VA resident. The hope I felt on election night when Obama and @tomperriello.bsky.social won had been unrivaled. That long of hope has been hard to come by, until tonight. It feels good to have hope once more. Thank you for running again, Tom.

I have felt ill for the better part of the day. I'm so disgusted by this country. The consequences of the bill took effect before it was passed. The 24/7 hospice center where my mom died is closing in anticipation of the cuts. That place employed living angels who are now unemployed.
