Huh… makes sense as to why they would muzzle Walz during the campaign
Governor Tim Walz says when Democrats are back in power, people are "not going to expect us to tinker around the edge with the ACA; they're going to expect universal healthcare."

Fans shouldn't have to worry about ROI or player investments. Fans should worry about having good players on their favorite team. If you're more concerned about $/WAR than winning a World Series, then you're part of the problem
Former MLB Executive David Samson shares his thoughts on how the Mariners should operate this offseason.

What do you think?

I mean, good for Phillies for shooting their shot but LOL

Being told that Castillo is a 4-5 starter in the Mariners rotation so they should trade him is going to send me over the edge.

I understand that his contract doesn't help their payroll situation but saying Woo/Miller are better than him is disingenuous.

In all honesty, this might be the most well-rounded lineup in the Dipoto Era if it happens.
Okay - you want unhinged trades? You got it.

People screaming that it isn't fair that the Dodgers can just go out and buy any player, though true, don't realize how many teams didn't even talk to said FA.

Snell was vocal last offseason about going to Seattle and they didn't try.
I would not be opposed to some tweaks to the economic system, sure.

I'm also not going to be mad that a team with a thin and unreliable rotation went out and added a very good pitcher to improve that weakness.
No one rational is complaining that the Dodgers are trying to get better or that they're using their resources and advantages to do so. But valid criticisms of MLB remain regardless of the "But The Parity!" MLB Apologistas annual attempts to pretend that there's nothing broken.

Are the Dodgers ruining baseball with their spending?

Quick reminder on what the Yankees were doing 15-20 years ago:

*Dodgers had a clear weakness in the playoffs, win anyway.

*Dodgers go out and address said issue

“How could baseball allow this?”
how dare the Dodgers, a team that started Ben Casparius in the World Series, go out and add a starter

I really enjoy the anger fans have about Dodgers being linked to Soto. I feel that fans have forgotten how all the owners can afford Soto and have reverted back to the post ‘94 players-strike way of thinking. There is no need for a cap, owners need to spend more. Soto to Dodgers would be great
