I think whoever working on Digimon Tamers that managed to make swiping a card into a slot actually look sick as fuck deserves an annie award.
Whenever I have to swipe a card, for whatever mundane reason, my mind always returns to the Digi-Modify sequence. Those 15 seconds live rent free in my head.

I really, really hate the way this cross-promotional bastard messed with the character development at the end of Tamers. I wouldn’t even have known this guy was from a video game if my friend didn’t tell me. All I see is an incredibly lame Marty Stu stealing Ruki AND Impmon’s thunder
I’ve been slowly rewatching all digimon seasons while I work and I got up to tamers currently, forgot how much I hate this guy. Weird self insert rpg charecter that ruins multiple charecter tree is development.
