Sabres, ska, "leftist" politics, postvangelical, other random shitposts. Be decent to each other. I have no time for BS
I'm waiting for them to simultaneously try to argue he's not mentally competent enough to stand trial but is somehow fit enough to continue holding office
Remember when Harvey Weinstein suddenly became frail and infirm in a desperate attempt to gain sympathy?
I wonder when Trump and MAGA make the pivot from "healthiest President to ever live" to "shame on you for harassing this frail senior citizen! Dems hate the elderly!!!"
I give it a week.

Just one more consumer protections that existed but were either removed by Trump or the agency that enforced them was gutted by him.

Just in the last few days he removed Biden's rule that the airlines have to compensate you for a changed flight
I am prepared to vote for anybody who will stop this

Should have his badge, if this is how he is in a stadium of people imagine when he's not

My LEAST woke opinion is that Billionaires shouldn't exist
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

It's almost once a day I encounter a truck driver where I don't know how the hell they got a CDL

The worst punishment for a narcissist like him would be to not remember him at all. Like I'm not saying ignore the historical lesson from this, just strike his name for the record. Like "that unnamed evil buffoon that became persistent was really bad, we shouldn't do that again" would eat him up

Great quick read from Robert Reich
Trump is a monster. He is an aspiring dictator who wants to wield the same power as a Stalin or Hitler, and he wants to be remembered through statues, stadiums and ballrooms.
He should be remembered as both a liar and traitor

Sometime you've gotta wipe the board, you know?

Mamdani just took what was supposed to be a work and made it a shoot. We need to do much, much more of that
American politics makes a lot more sense when you view it like professional wrestling:

They go in front of the audience and beat each other up and hit each other with chairs… and then they go backstage, high five, and hang out.

Most politics isn’t sport - it’s sports entertainment.

The funniest thing to me about the whole baby formula experiment is the Catholic churches being like the only Christian churches that offered help when most evangelicals don't even consider Catholics to be really Christian. It's wild

The Sabres are cursed, seriously...

There is no other explanation
November 11, 2025 at 5:36 PM
I think Peyton and Josh made the curse worse
In my many years of covering the Sabres, this particular conglomeration of bad fortune and maligned health really is unprecedented.

Thank God
Today, Speaker Emeritus Nancy Pelosi announced that she will not seek reelection and is retiring at the end of her term.

From her time working with Harvey Milk in San Francisco to her tenure as the first female Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi is the definition of a champion for equality.

Don't fall for the blue mirage in Virginia and get complacent going into 2026 or 2028. Most Trump voters are not college educated and typically it's mainly college grads who vote in off year elections. The Dems will always do better when he's not on the ballot to turnout his base

It's hilarious that even the smart things this administration does (like eliminate the penny) just causes utter chaos because they just do them on a whim without thinking through the process or having any coherent plan

I think everybody has a “Wallace Shawn from Young Sheldon” — my first one would probably be “Vincent Price, the guy who did the voice of Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective”

Me when I finish my dopplebock after an hour on porch and I've seen like 5 groups of trick or treaters:

🎶 this town whoa oh is coming like a ghost town🎶
50 degrees on my porch with a dopplebock on my left, bowl of candy on my right, Skalloween playlist going and the kids are off trick or treating with Mom, Grandma and Aunt. Perfect Halloween night

Tylenol should always be used with caution but it has nothing to do with autism
I guess someone heard from Tylenol’s lawyers.
