Hello, I’m OneOneTwo. I’m one of the moderators of the /r/MegaMan Subreddit and talk a lot about public transit (especially in Washington, D.C.). If you like action games or transit, I’d love to chat in replies to my posts :)

It is bonkers how Chicago went from being on the verge of their transit system completely collapsing, to developing one of the best frequent bus networks in the country and introducing 24/7 service to the Orange Line (a distinction very few subway lines in the world even have!). Go Chicago!
Thanks to the Illinois’ massive investment in transit, Chicago has a bright transit future, with the dawn coming next year:
—50% increase in every-10-min bus routes to 30 citywide
—8-minute midday headways on rail lines
—24-hour Orange Line service (Red & Blue already have it)

Acting CTA President Nora Leerhsen’s ambitious plan would also expand — from 20 to 30 routes — the so-called “Frequent Bus Network” that provides service “every ten minutes or better” between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.

After a series of games from Inti Creates that felt decent but not great, Majogami is the first game of theirs in quite a while that reminds me of why I love this company's games in the first place. Majogami is a slick 2D Action game with gorgeous graphics and a surprisingly heartfelt story.

After a series of games from Inti Creates that felt decent but not great, Majogami is the first game of theirs in quite a while that reminds me of why I love this company's games in the first place. Majogami is a slick 2D Action game with gorgeous graphics and a surprisingly heartfelt story.
I'm pretty sad about this. For what it was worth, I actually quite enjoyed X DiVE as a celebration of the entire series up to this point.
If this is true, I hope everyone who lost their jobs was able to get work elsewhere :(

Charlotte's transport referendum has won.
1% sales tax increase is expected to generate $19 billion/20 years, funding:
—Transit (40%): Red Line commuter rail, Silver Line light rail, Gold Line extension, Blue Line extension

Despite having some classic NES crust with limited continues and an unforgiving difficulty, Bayou Billy is a pretty stellar NES genre-mash game that reminds me of games such as Vice Project Doom and Blaster Master. If you like either of those games, give this a try.

It took roughly a year, but the Mega Man X DiVE Official Complete Works is finally in my hands, along with the special RiCO card! The artwork of this game is one of my favorite parts about it, so it's so cool to have it as a coffee table book to flip through.

When I heard that Illusion Island was going to be an NSO Game Trial, I was excited. I wanted to play this game when it came out in 2023 but never got around to buying it.
I'm glad I played this, as Illusion Island is a simple and charming Metroidvania, though the simplicity gets in its own way.

When I heard that Illusion Island was going to be an NSO Game Trial, I was excited. I wanted to play this game when it came out in 2023 but never got around to buying it.
I'm glad I played this, as Illusion Island is a simple and charming Metroidvania, though the simplicity gets in its own way.

This video is cute by itself, but putting in the 9 Train, which no longer exists (thereby making it a *ghost train*), is exceedingly clever.

This is a fantastic choice. NSMB's music is surprisingly pretty good, and Mario Vs. Luigi BGM 1 in particular is one of my favorite songs in Mario history.
