Have you tried growing up a little about it?

A concentration camp without even the pretense of for-show pretend medical care is a death camp.
A two month old-detained in the ICE concentration camp at Dilley-was rushed to the hospital this weekend

The boy’s extreme youth made him particularly vulnerable in a prison setting

Worse, they knew he was sick-and couldn’t care for him-because the facility didn’t even have a doctor

This is a great take that also dovetails very nicely with the "techbro culture doesn't DO anything" observation.

They're not moving people, feeding people, housing people - but they trying to add their own little squeeze on all of those things. Modern SV tech culture is "middleman extraction."
My grand theory of the appeal of trash like NFTs, crypto, "A.i.," Kalshi, Polymarket, etc.:

Our social safety net is so bad that millions of people can't see any way to ever achieve financial security or even basic health care without hitting some kind of jackpot.

So scams are very attractive!

Can some law-talking-person explain to me how this is not torture under color of law.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

When you don't want dogs chewing at your trafficking and abuse ring, you give them something else to focus on.

I thought the rise in anti-trans rhetoric and culture war was just the latest iteration of cold, calculated GOP distractions, but turns out it can be that AND something far, far worse.
You’re not crazy. The anti-trans movement is not organic; it was funded by pedophilic billionaires like Jeffrey Epstein who backed a network of conservatives to accuse the same people they were sexually abusing of being the real danger. @madycast.com exposes the truth in our in-depth report.

I guess no DHS/ICE agents ever played Half Life 3, or are smart enough to make the connection that *they* are the brutal oppressive collaborationist humans dressed like... DHS/ICE agents, whose only purpose in game is to release pink mist.

You'd think some would see it. Crazy.

4. Medical malpractice. Here’s why I say stopping this detention-to Texas pipeline is life of death.

An 18-month old hospitalized after nearly dying of three simultaneous respiratory infections. When she returned to the camp, DHS withheld her meds.

I work for a Minneapolis-based firm. MPLS was and is under attack by the federal government. Hundreds of people are being snatched off the streets. Undocumented immigrants, DACA recipients, asylees, asylum seekers, refugees, lawful permanent residents, citizens.

Cliff's Notes for this:

Article says the glowing reviews are not bot reviews because the reviewers are VERIFIED, which means verified ticket purchase.

Reality says bots can use identifiers from bulk-bought tickets.

That's just it. 'Polite society' is a myth. A promise that does not obtain. It was always veneer for the worst of us, a glamour upon the avatars of basest avarice and hatred.

Not be allowed to walk amongst? He'll be cheered, lauded, feted.
This shouldn't be allowed to happen. Jeff Bezos should simply not be allowed to walk amongst polite society without being scorned as the guy who voluntarily destroyed the Washington Post.

This story is a Black man who broke barriers in radio, film, and television. A man who was beloved by all audiences across the country and made huge contributions to his community.

I don't remember anything about it now other than it was blue and awesome because I only had it a day. 1/

I wonder how much more money Democrats would have agreed to give DHS/ICE if DHS/ICE had killed even more people.

"We extra-judicially murdered a bunch of people and Congress showered us in money. Dems included!"

How can that not be their takeaway here.
