What’s happening inside the Conservative Party under Pierre Poilievre isn’t normal turbulence. It’s institutional decay disguised as discipline. It's a flashing red light signaling rot, with a party on the brink of combustion.

This isn't a political party; it's a cult. #cdnpoli
Sharan Kaur: Inside the Conservative Party’s culture of fear
Canadian politics has never been for the faint of heart. Every party has its fractures, leadership wars, and moments of chaos. But what’s happening inside the Conservative Party under Pierre Poilievre...

Danielle Smith's power comes from convincing Albertans that they have an enemy in Ottawa
If she didn't distract Albertans with her Ottawa-is-to-blame schtick she'd actually have to fix our problems
& fixing our problems would get in the way of her corruption

But...
They have all sorts of money for corporate welfare

It sure sounds as if Danielle Smith’s United Conservative Party will soon rip a page from the Book of Depression era Social Credit premier William Aberhart and repeal the province’s recall legislation...

Today Elections Alberta requested $13.5 million to be able to administer recalls and referendum.

The UCP committee in charge revised their request to just over $1 million.

And then voted it through.

The UCP just defunded recall/referendum.

My oldest works with special needs kids in the public school system

When you have over 30 kids in a kindergarten class, 10 with special needs, kids are going to fall through the cracks

Those kids grow up to be adults who can't read
