Feel like if this is how the law works, there’s no reason to make a budget deal because there’s no reason to believe anything that you win via Congress will actually happen anyway.

I love that Brazil is all like, “Yeah, no” to Trump. But what’s up with this “defying” BS? Since when does the Trumpyre have the right to exert power over other nation’s justice systems? Let’s try language like: “the Brazilian courts held firm in the face of Trump’s unwarranted demands.” Do better!
