I’m not an economist, but it seems like inflation also might save some a small money if you have a fixed rate loan, or if you are renting under a long term contract… since the amount you pay has less value? Curious what those in the know think…

This! My idea of a good weekend is putzing around in the garden (aka engaging in horticultural Darwinism) and maybe cooking a few things from scratch, only because I don’t like all packaging. This is the only thing giving me hope. Once a country goes through a dictatorship/facism, it takes a good generation or two before the horrors are forgotten. Maybe we will emerge better, and if I don’t get to see it, perhaps the younger generations will.
