We should be unequivocally critical of this wave of militarization and repression. I’m simultaneously worried that an inward turn in the news cycle (which is…notable) is taking eyes off Rafah and Gaza generally. Not for protesters but for the wider public. How do we navigate it? (Serious question.)

I am watching police officers assault professors and students at Emory, snipers lining up on the roofs at IU and Ohio State. My academic colleagues: There is no excuse for staying silent. State violence & threats of violence against nonviolent protestors are unacceptable. Period.

Remember: Most billionaires are not “self-made.” They’re made via a combination of inherited wealth, government subsidies, tax loopholes, labor exploitation, and policy failures. Can we stop perpetuating a myth that blames wealth inequality on the choices of everyday Americans?

The transition to clean energy is being driven by favorable economics.

“With current power prices, the traditional baseload plants will struggle, unless we face longer periods with very unfavorable solar and wind conditions, drought or strong heat"

AFAIK, this was not predicted by anyone.

Trump's 2016 election made me give up flexing my political muscles - lame, but true. I've started leaning in again, learning more about the current state of the union and listening to Sanders' podcast. It's the best! Biggest takeaway: Bernie never stops fighting and neither should we.
