There might finally be a way to prevent TTPRG players from turning evil murdohobo after 3 sessions, and it’s attractively called the Evil Calibration Checklist from Eat The Reich! youtu.be/5hV_GDJ0yDA
Jumped into a #daggerheart one shot last night. It was more fun and dynamic than D&D for sure! I thought Hope/Fear would be like 'success w/ a consequence' but its very mechanical, i.e. 'Spend 2 Hope to...'. I don't think D&D fans will have problems learning it (although, maybe that's its issue...)

After all this time I'm *finally* going to be able to do my own version of James' epic world-building, after building up the courage! Very inspiring how each location was created *with* the players as well as their character arcs.

How come so many TTRPG adventures are built on Gotchas? They're like "if the players say they are writing to their grandma or roll a successful Dance roll, they will spot the hidden death trap. Otherwise, they take 5D10 damage". Why? No wonder PCs become paranoid

I’m slowly working on a hodgepodge campaign that has the setting of Scum and Villainy, the masks and campaign of Brinkwood, and now the arcs and beats of Slugblaster…and I’m going to be 10x more into it than my poor players 🤷♂️
