ICE officers were in unmarked vans on community college campuses in Northern Virginia today.

They were reportedly knocking on doors of apartments off Rt 1 starting at 6am

You have rights. You do NOT need to open the door without proof of a warrant.

Plenty of people outside your country comprehend the nightmare, Seth.
Not going to pretend to be surprised about this because I wrote a book about January 6. But yes—if you were wondering—the most malevolent criminal in US political history is about to be POTUS in 6 days. It's an unimaginable situation, essentially a living nightmare, and very few fully comprehend it.

The Albanese Government was elected on the promise of delivering a transparent anti-corruption body with teeth.

Instead, it created a body that operates almost entirely in secret

One year, $140 million spent, an absolutely wasteful over the top management structure and … no results.

🚨The deeply embattled National Anti-Corruption Commission has completed its first investigations - and in all 3 cases says no corruption found.

Refuses to say if Angus Taylor's "watergate" was one - despite 2 of 3 relating to "procurement".

Reposting photos without attribution is a completely different level of unethical though. Not cool at all.

Me too! That is appalling.
Am I the only one who didn't know there was an entire government dept of 500 staff setup for Morrison's $368 BIL brainfart AUKUS subs?

500 people? For subs we are never going to see and will be redundant before delivery.

I would rather have seen a re-nationalised Commonwealth Employment Service.

Gas prices (which set electricity prices) have driven up the cost-of-living. With our abundance of gas, we’d have substantially reduced energy prices if we adopted a ‘gas reservation policy’ where 15% of OUR gas extracted went to OUR domestic market. But our Prime Minister is weak. #auspol
