Back when it was food stamps, I relied on this program. At the time, I was starting my work life and caring for a younger family member. At some point in my future, I might need this program again. I might, you might, millions of people already do.

In my election preview, I'd identified 6 Connecticut towns to watch: I flagged that Democrats were defending the mayorship of Danbury and Norwalk, and hoping to flip Bristol, Milford, New Britain, & Stratford.

Dems won all 6 mayor's races (so 4 flips).

They flipped others too.
