“Impeding” is the belief that white* men can do what they want without any opposition, and any opposition, no matter how lawful, safe, nor interfering, is impeding their will.

Fucking wusses.

ACAW

*white adjacent and male adjacent will soon learn their value is temporary.

From @wired.com: “Federal records reveal ICE is secretly expanding into 150+ facilities across nearly every state — many near schools, medical offices, and places of worship… DHS asked the General Services Administration to hide lease listings and bypass normal procedures…”🤔

Gallego: Lutnick knew he did something wrong because he lied about it. So clearly, you did something wrong. You knew you were doing something wrong. You should not have been associating with this man — and yet you did.

And now we’re supposed to believe everything you say when you’ve already lied?

You gotta admit, the staffers in the background keeping it real are the best part.

Good for Sen.,Lujan. No need to spend party money. Put it toward funding a tight race elsewhere.

Throwback to Pam Bondi’s campaign ad for Florida AG:

“I’ll fight to put human trafficking monsters where they belong. Behind bars.”

The ad aged. The internet remembers.

Way-hey! After concerted local pushback, New Jersey company decides not to contract with ICE:

"The contract with ICE will not move forward, a Holman spokesperson told Patch.

"I have been informed that we declined that particular body of work," the spokesperson said...

A reminder: The Attorney General of the United States should be the people's lawyer, not the president's personal attorney. The Department of Justice should act to protect the public, not the occupant of the Oval Office and his political allies.

I’ve watched a lot of congressional hearings over the last 40 years. This performance by Bondi is the single most unprofessional, non-responsive, reprehensible and obnoxious I have ever seen from any witness who has testified before any committee of either chamber.

Pam Bondi has been a complete and total failure at her job. The Epstein survivors showed more courage just by being in that room than she did under oath. She refused to answer questions and chose complicity.

America deserves better.

Impeach, arrest, and prosecute them all. Anything less is being complicit.

Another memorable ruling out of West Virginia, where Judge Goodwin — a Clinton appointee — excoriates the treatment of ICE detainees.

"This is not what civil enforcement looks like in a humane system of government under law."

Pirro should be impeached just for attempting to get an indictment against members of Congress for speech.

Her incompetence is actually useful right now because it negates her malevolence.

Lawyer for Epstein survivors: The DOJ did a disastrous job in redacting the names of the survivors, but it seems that they've done a profound, over-broad job when it comes to redacting the names of those in Jeffrey Epstein's circles to protect them.
