“Impeding” is the belief that white* men can do what they want without any opposition, and any opposition, no matter how lawful, safe, nor interfering, is impeding their will.

Fucking wusses.

ACAW

The SAVE America Act isn’t saving anyone.

Congress should be expanding access to the ballot box—not restricting it. This bill could make it harder for millions of married women to vote if it passes. It’s voter suppression disguised in the name of election security.

I will be voting HELL no.

Justice isn’t ICE leaving Minnesota.

Justice is ICE being held accountable for murdering Americans.

Yep
If we are required to show a passport in order to vote, doesn’t that make passport fees an illegal poll tax?

Walz: "The federal government needs to pay for what they broke here. There's going to be accountability on things that happened, but one of them is the incredible and immense cost borne by the people of this state. The federal government needs to be responsible."

Exactly. They’re timing what looks to be less Gestapo violence with getting DHS funding. Then like whack-a-mole the goons pop up elsewhere to terrorize.
Minnesota, you won. Much of ICE are leaving. Don't trust this. They are trying to get the funding bill passed. Once the bill passes they'll be back at it either by you or someplace else.

It’s the Epstein Administration.

No wonder Bondi spent the entire hearing screeching and deflecting.

In a normal government, this results in the resignation of multiple cabinet officials (Transportation, Defense, and Homeland Security), and the closure or (at least!) radical reorg of the cartoonishly incompetent agency at the center of it: CBP.

Today my students asked about AI advertising to student populations/campuses and I recommended that they read tech bro rhetoric about AI while swapping out "AI" for the terms "slavery," "pollution," "billionaire profits," or "deep state surveillance," and we had a great time. Highly recommend.

If Putin is such a badass, and is serious about peace, why doesn't he go to Kyiv? The entire world knows Ukrainian assurances of his safety are far more believable than Russia's is of Zelenskyy's. Ol' Vlad can show the world he's serious AND a brave badass in one fell swoop. Of course... he won't.

I hope people are paying attention to what ICE is up to now. They are going to have a show of force in every state before the midterms.

It doesn’t happen often, but local law enforcement can arrest and charge federal agents. Legal experts say there’s a moral obligation to at least try to hold federal immigration officers accountable w...

What was most outstanding to me, was the very apparent fear on Bondi's face. Yet another clear sign of authoritarianism.

You could literally see surges of adrenalin, rage and terror.

And now we’re supposed to believe everything you say when you’ve already lied?
