I really wish indie programmers had nostalgia for these games and not snes-era retro side-scrolling metroidvanias with cute characters.
Something always so endearing about Might & Magic VI: Mandate of Heaven's PCs and NPCs having digitized photos for portraits. It gives it a goofy, ren faire vibe that only adds to its charm.
