You would think Trump - who has owned and still owns commercial space - would know the difficulties in filling city commercial space even now. Or at least get in on the burgeoning business of converting spaces to residential. He’s really that bad at business.
Business rent is way too high on Mag (not Miracle) Mile so companies are just shuffling around. H&M moved two blocks down the road to save cash.
He's blaming "murder and crime" in one of the safest parts of the city because the real problem is "landlords." Almost like that's the whole gambit.

Agree. It’s great when Newsom finds his sweet spot… but a lot of his stunts are just, well, stunts.
I dislike a lot of Newsom’s stunts. But some of his stunts are genuine good policy. We need his flash, Pritzker framing, Walz folksiness, Warren’s financial plan.
