THEY DID IT. EVERY SENATE DEMOCRAT just voted on an amendment to DEFUND ICE (rescind the BBB slush fund that keeps ICE open during a shutdown.) This amendment failed, but it shows broad support! KEEP CALLING and make it a demand to vote for the DHS funding bill!!
👀 Every Senate Democrat + Collins and Murkowski just voted for the Bernie Sanders amendment to repeal the $75 billion in additional ICE funding under Trump’s “big beautiful bill.” The measure failed 49-51.

If I were a blue state governor, I’d be looking into adding a bunch of tenure lines at my state schools.

I know that seems like “kick ‘em when they’re down,” but it’s more like “let academics who can escape to where they can do real work.”

Builds up your own schools AND protect US academic output.

The most valuable cultural myth we have is that we can improve ourselves.

It used to be in our public consciousness that this is what we strive to do. And have done before.

Better people turned their shame into action. Small people use their shame as an excuse for nihilism.

More like this!
The Department of Homeland Security funding bill to be considered by the House today does not rein in the lawless conduct from ICE. The American people deserve better.

I'm voting NO. (2/2)

“Can my one vote in 2026 really do all that?” I want to tell you emphatically: Yes, it can. Because your one vote joins with millions of others, and together we chart the course of this country.

Reposting this as it seems to be the kind of damning, documented narrative of Trump’s close relationship with Epstein that so many have clamored for, and I’m not sure why it’s not getting attention. Gift link.

BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: I think that's fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.
