Watched the new Seven Dials - Mia McKenna-Bruce (she was Mary in the most recent Persuasion) was a perfect Bundle and it was mostly a beautiful adaptation but it takes a turn at the end for the Agatha Christie’s Avengers which was a bit odd

every single thing about this administration is stupid and unnecessary but getting into a trade war and threatening a shooting war with Europe - Europe! - because the president saw a Mercator projection and wants to slap his name on Greenland is maybe the stupidest and most unnecessary
The retaliation measures are being drawn up to give European leaders leverage in pivotal meetings with the US president at the World Economic Forum in Davos. ft.trib.al/aKexyt2

We were told “you are either with us or with the terrorists” and if we pointed out the long term effects of the Patriot Act we were accused of being unAmerican
You know, many of us said the post 9/11 War on Terror measures were Orwellian bullshit at the time, from DHS to ICE. The Patriot Act was chilling as well.

Some of us objected vociferously. Perhaps we didn't have the mics or the power, but we remember 2001-2005 as a terrible time in this country.

These are DHS agents not MPD according to their uniforms. What federal crime was the dancing fox reasonably suspected of?
Outside of the Bishop Henry Whipple Building in Minneapolis a person dancing in a fox costume is arrested by the MPD. Protests have been consistent outside of this building since the ramped up ICE presence.

From an optics perspective... the protesters being the ones waving the US flag while Bovino et al looks like every awful nazi inspired movie we've ever seen... hats off to Minnesotans.
Greg Bovino was seen earlier today at the Minneapolis ICE facility dressed in a very nazi-inspired outfit. They don’t even hide anymore.
