It's a new year so I think a new #introduction is in order! I'm N.Vee and I still make a lot of art about Pokemon and a little about D&D, but this year I really want to focus on original work: a setting I dubbed "Terrarium"

Here's some of my favorite 2025 pieces!

It's important to stay informed, I think, but do occasionally do something else to. Post a little joke. Talk about a hobby. Joy matters. A 9 hour "HERE'S WHY EVERYTHING SUCKS" posting stream is probably bad for your brain.

Some of my first PMD drawings, from some years ago - my redesigns for the explorers guild! They're dated but I still love them!
fanart 1 - wigglytuff has a red and golden cape tied by a gold explores badge, and a big scar on his right eye. He's bigger, fluffier and has paw pads and fangs. Chatot has more shades of blue on his wings, glasses, and markings on his face that resemble musical notes fanart 2 - corphish, chimecho, bidoof, and sunflora corphish has little yellow spots and a cyan ribbon on his horn. bidoof has a yellow and pink striped scarf and a small scar on his back. chimecho has earrings and her pink markings resemble clouds. sunflora has a big red ribbon on her neck and her legs look like roots. fanart 3 - dugtrio, diglett, croagunk and loudred dugtrio has wave-like blue tatoos and scars, diglett is lighter-furred and has a small similar tatoo. croagunk has a black bandana with a skull. loudred has heavy golden earrings and his ears are pointy.

You know when you have to rest after lifting weights so your muscles can repair themselves and get stronger? That's also Art. Re-contextualize burnout as required rest. It'll make however long you have to wait a whole lot more bearable, and you might even heal from it faster.

Between (((Everything))) I am actually finding time to work on my writing, and I'm inching closer to actual finished chapters of my setting, Terrarium's, "DMG" or "encyclopedia" - whatever's more applicable. But it's exciting!! This sparks joy!!

For me, speaking from a hobby perspective only, between 2 days to 2 years. I'm going to be kind to myself and say the average is 3 months. You will generally be happier with your final pieces if you're allowed to cook!
