I’ve never worked this hard for five tiny shark teeth, nor been so grateful to find any that I could cry. Trip has been saved and my heart is full!
Also found something rarer for me— the fragile white “dove” from the inside of a sand dollar! Only the second I’ve ever found in my life!

A *huge* vaccine victory. I've been writing on this for years; Australia has seen remarkable progress in cervical cancer prevention with the HPV vaccine. I love seeing science triumph like this.

A quite large oil on canvas portrait of Lorna from 1991. This one is stored away rolled up with other canvases but I just spotted a photo of it on my camera rolll. She was a frequent and very patient sitter for portraits when she lived nearby and has several of them (more available!)

With all our current understanding of climate change, the drivers & corporate unaccountability, surely it is time to make a distinction between ‘sovereign’ and ‘global’ regulatory use rights & responsibilities?
