Yes, this is my overwhelming impression listening to it. He repeatedly demanded full ownership of Greenland, and made an explicit threat to punish the Europeans if they don't give in. He then threatened to punish Canada over its prime minister's speech!
If you're only reading headlines and see "Trump Says He Won't Use Force" it will give you a misimpression of both how bellicose this speech is and how dug in he is on Greenland.

As an American that’s had the privilege to travel enough to require a “large book” passport and have many cherished friendships around the world… hearing this is so depressing, but it is also so deserved.

The Founders assumed that Members of Congress would jealously and zealously guard the powers and prerogatives of their branch of government against the grasping of an overweening Executive, and instead we got this supine GOP majority that yearns to lick the boot.
I would like to think the Mad King proclaiming “I will continue to illegally raise taxes on the American people until the NATO alliance collapses” would be the type of statement to cause Congress to act, but I’m not sure there’s any red line the GOP Congress has anymore.

He was bundled into the van & taken away.

It's incredibly disturbing that the Trump administration (1) is not investigating the ICE shooter; (2) has refused to cooperate with any state-led investigation of the ICE shooter; but (3) aims to go hard after Renee Good's widow.
Last week, I looked into the record of the federal prosecutor in Minnesota who was leading the work on the Somali daycare fraud case.
He struck me as a straight shooter, not a partisan hack.

Also, FUCK Target for not speaking out about these goons harassing their employees and customers. At a minimum, they should be alerting people of their presence and have a private space for their brown employees to seek refuge during these raids. Never giving them another cent.
