Animation is not a kids genre. This is art we are talking about. Animation had the power of telling stories simple or complex. People are misportraying animation as a genre when it's not as it can't do one thing like a genre. Maybe if you give it a chance you see it's power.

Ok, ok, hear me out. What if we took a bright and colorful popular animated kids movie but remade it live-action where we still have to animate the fantastical elements, but we desaturate the color so it's less vibrant and feels lifeless by comparison? I think that would be easy money!

It just occurred to me that I never posted about Yester Noon here, so here’s the silly little fella. Basically he’s supposed to be a mascot for a chain of restaurants kinda like Chuck E Cheese.

This folks, is why progressive stories need our support even more than before. In times this divided, corporate powers are only gonna want to step backwards in letting such 'sensitive' topics out to the masses in fear of reactionaries if not bending to them outright. #StandWithAnimation#TransRights
Disappointing is an understatement. Shame on Disney for cutting this episode during a time when trans kids and teens could likely use media like this the most.
