It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

I voted today! Then came home and saw what Bezos did to the WaPo and canceled my Prime membership.

I tried to early vote today (in a St. Louis suburb, largely a blue area). Early voting just started Tuesday, so today was the third day. The first library we went to had not a single parking space available. We went to another. There were at least 100 people in line. Will try again tomorrow.

@nytimes.com - After a certain point, one has to wonder if Mr. Sulzberger or Mr. Kahn is being blackmailed by Russia. I'm being honest, I am wondering. Because otherwise your INCESSANT smear campaign against Joe Biden looks completely irrational. Given what you did to Hillary in 2016, it's obvious.

@nytimes.com You have covered yourself in shame thus far in the U.S. election campaign. To an outside observer, it almost appears that you want Donald Trump to win the election.

I think we should start a campaign to shame the NYT out of its esteemed place in media. There's something rotten there.

I just figured it out (I'm a bit slow) - the Mathew Walther piece yesterday saying that a monarchy seems good enough to him, and Elizabeth Bruenig's piece a couple of weeks ago saying the same thing - they're saying that democracy is a reasonable trade-off in their minds for abortion being illegal!
