This was literally Trump’s response in 2017 when asked by the WSJ how he was going to improve the lives of people in Upstate NY: just move
Bessent: "You know the best way to bring your inflation rate down? Move from a blue state to a red state. Blue state inflation is half a percent higher."

Chris Coons fought for no witness testimony in Trump’s insurrection impeachment, whining that senators’ Valentine’s plans were reason to avoid “forcing” them to sit through testimony in a history defining case. He’s still a senator and was one of Biden’s top guys in the senate.

It would lead to a Trump takeover because Cuomo is willing to quietly implement Trump’s policies for favors while negotiating with them on what they’re willing to publicly “fight” about, which Mamdani won’t do. This strategy might work if we hadn’t all watched Adams do the same thing for months
TONIGHT: @stephruhle.bsky.social sits down with former Gov. Andrew Cuomo to talk his NYC mayoral campaign, why he thinks a Zohran Mamdani victory would lead to a Trump takeover, and more.

Tune in at 11pm ET.

Meanwhile Eric Adams, for laundered donations and who knows what else, was helping boost the credibility of a country where a vast majority of its Jewish population has fled in the last few decades due to persecution. www.thecity.nyc/2025/07/09/a...

I've obtained a trove of leaked documents about today's federal crackdown on Los Angeles' MacArthur Park. One revelation is its codename: "Operation Excalibur"

The guy not raising his hand is Micheal Bennett, strategist James Carville’s preferred candidate. Carville also told dems to keep their heads down & let Trump ruin everything so they can win the midterms. His continued presence in the party likely helps explain the inability to deal with the NYT
The party is haunted by the New York Times, which eschews its role in shaping public opinion and has played a crucial role in enacting the right’s wedge on this issue.

What other movie do you get an extra wearing a tshirt with their own name and caricature on it. Genuinely asking, is Bill Smith the only one?

“The New York Times collaborated with a white nationalist eugenicist hacker and agreed to keep his identity a secret to publish a Zohran Mamdani hit piece” is a way bigger story than “18 year old Zohran Mamdani ticked ‘African American’ on his Columbia application because he was a citizen of Uganda”

How has no one mentioned that just months ago the mayor of LA was messing around in Ghana when parts of their city were literally burning to the ground? Who wants the NYC mayor to be glad-handing halfway across the globe on the taxpayer dime when a major crisis hits?

Yet another blue mayor in a blue state showing why Trump’s police state has the power it does and that dems won’t fight back: @gaineyformayor.com sees entire squad of armed officers raid an LGBTQ+ space for a fire code violation and defends it as how they treat all of Pittsburgh’s small businesses
“Officers reportedly ordered performers and all 133 patrons to wait outside while they conducted what they called a ‘compliance check.’ “

Everything old is new again. History repeats itself. Etc.

Color coordinated, and assumedly expensive, outfits and not-too-obtrusive signs that they cared so little about most of them couldn’t be bothered to actually hold up. Dems are fully prepared to let Trump do whatever he wants over ever once feeling any level of discomfort, the rest of us be damned.

Jeffries used his first few days as House Dem leader to fly back up to NY to attend a presser to help Hochul defend her doomed GOP nominee to the chief of the state Supreme Court. He knows nothing but protecting those with political power.
Hakeem Jeffries refuses to call for Eric Adams' resignation, instead calling on Adams to show "that he has the capacity to continue to govern in the best interest of New Yorkers"

Upstate NYers love of Trump is insane, his publicly stated economic plan to improve their lives is and has been: move. He does not give a single fuck about people in upstate NY.

Feel pretty confident that this loser was one of the dems bitching about the amount of calls they’ve gotten from constituents and attacking their own grassroots organizers at that House dem meeting
Oh, I’m so sorry. I took a few hours off to watch a show that commemorates 50 years of the best show on television that was a part of my growing up and is a phenomenal show. may i please have your forgiveness. When it’s over and before I go to bed, I will think of three more ways to work against 47

Ro’s staff are either incompetent and/or actively undermining accountability by not informing him of Dem plans or Ro purposefully chose not to be there, likely to avoid pissing off Tech so he could loudly call for another vote and vote yes when it would safely fail with GOP votes.

Trump’s threatening to forcefully annex parts of multiple sovereign nations? Well thank god the Biden admin et al hasn’t spent its diplomatic power for the last year+ attacking and delegitimizing international institutions and international law to protect another nation doing exactly that and more…

This is what the number 3 democrat in the senate is doing with their limited time left with the senate majority, if you were wondering what democrats were doing to prepare for Trump’s term

Can’t wait to hear all the 4D chess conspiracies from the GOP that this was the plan all along: prosecute Hunter under Biden so he can pardon him and block Trump from bringing “true justice” when Biden was just a moron who appointed an absolutely terrible DOJ Sec

This isn’t funny. Every year on thanksgiving, officers who merely come into physical contact with turkey will regularly overdose from near lethal levels of tryptophan.
