Just so everyone knows, my class was set up with all of their work for today and I woke up in so much pain I couldn’t walk so I did call out.
Two of my kids ended up suspended for starting a fight with a classmate.
It is still always less work to go in.

I know every teacher makes this point, but it’s less work to go in and feel miserable all day than call out and figure out sub plans. Being self contained makes it even worse. I’m having a flare up and the lowest energy option is to go in and do 8 different low effort lessons over the next 2 days.

The way that I’m healthily coping with what was actually an entire lifetime of my Dad’s financial abuse and being effectively homeless for a month and a half and continuing to do a good job as a special education teacher but TikTok is what has me feeling like I’m going to crash out is embarrassing

this. I've seen people argue tiktok doesn't have any suppression. folks can be mad about the ban without lying that the app was perfect.
