It’s really frustrating to see chronically ill folks complain about being labeled a drug seeker or a psych patient without recognizing and absorbing just how bad psych patients are treated ALL THE TIME.

The chronic illness struggle of — do I get the surgeries now before Medicaid is cut? Or would it be silly to go under the knife knowing how prone I am to complications with Medicaid on the chopping block? IDK MAN who tf knows.

Really tired of “neurodiversity affirming” clinicians who really just have their own strict rules and standards for how ppl should behave — and who alienate those who think differently than them. I’ll stick with my disability justice centered and Mad pals, thanks.

my main gripe about all the handwringing over tiktok and trump is that ICE is doing raids in Chicago this week, which is a much clearer sign of things getting sharply worse than any of the tea leaf reading of app features that people are doing. the app can still be a big distraction from real life.
