Metaphor is prescient about the post-release near future in the same eerie way that Death Stranding was disturbingly prescient about the COVID-19 panic. Metaphor feels like a response to 2025, not a game that came out the year before.

Just want to note that generally I am not seeing people saying that violence/violent resistance is never justified or never works. What I’m seeing—and what is inarguably just good basic opsec—is “don’t fucking fedpost, you stupid shitheads”
