this is precisely why statist ideologies won't work - because power corrupts and consolidates and maintains the oppressive forces of kyriarchy, and anyone who gains that power will generally align with those interests. it's a self-perpetuating system that cannot be reformed.
I'm gonna say, I do not think this is all a big conspiracy plot by specifically epstein, it is much more systemic than that: all the rich and powerful naturally assume positions that consolidate their power, that marginalize the marginalized more, that ensure existing hierarchies remain as they are.

I think polls that ask "do you support trans people" and don't follow up asking about specific rights are kind of meaningless.
Experience says it's common for cis women especially to support us socially, but side against us on the fronts we are being most attacked.

The Epstein emails should really end the debate over whether society should have billionaires.
