Sometimes, you have to get a painting idea down quick before your vision for it fades.
Using cheap washable markers is my go-to for getting a concept down. It helps me plan for a more complete and unified piece later on without me losing sight of my initial vision.

You're allowed to quit things. If a TV show isn't entertaining, a video game isn't fun, a book isn't grabbing you...just quit. Go do something else. Life's too short to trudge through something just to finish it or doing leisure activities out of some false sense of obligation.

Trying to get the energy to do art is so difficult these days when the world seems to be falling apart. But art is one of those things that I enjoy doing and makes the world worth living in. I must perservere, and so should you.
