It's hard to find the wherewithal to write when so much of human decency is being eroded by unadulterated hate.

Today was a slog for #AcademicWriting, but tonight, my kids want to play Dungeons & Dragons. In their D&D world, they can be the good that they want to see in ours. I can give them that.

There are lots of grim things happening in the world right now, including ongoing genocides.

Let us not forget history; let us not become unwittingly complicit in similar horrors, and let us stand up to those who would willingly commit them.

As the Trump administration & many state governments appear poised to accelerate attacks on higher education as a public good, the AAUP urges colleges & universities to resist the coming onslaught of political interference & defend the core values of higher education.

One of my colleagues is recruiting participants for her dissertation. She’s interested in the experiences of Black women who work at historically white institutions who are not faculty and are not in DEI positions but are engaged in DEI initiatives. DM me if interested!!!
