So Australia signed a deal to mine and sell critical minerals to the USA. Good, are we actually going to sell the resources and tax appropriately or just give it all away to foreign companies… again? #auspol

A new study published in Nature Climate Action finds Woodside’s Scarborough gas project could cause 100s of heat-related deaths & exposed 500k people to unprecedented heat.

Govt can’t claim climate leadership while approving projects like this.

I am a Norwegian and i loved this clip! Hits right in the middle of our norwegian double standards and we deserve to be called out for it! In general we love sarcasm and political satire in Norway, so this one is fits very much norwegian humor.

Get in the bin.
An Australian billionaire (who loves Elon Musk of course) wants to destroy a world beneath the oceans before we even come close to understanding it. There are no limits to this ultra capitalist strip mining of our one and only planet.

Looking forward to apologies from all those individuals, groups, political parties, foreign governments and news outlets that have suggested the Labor Government was to blame for a surge in antisemitism in Australia!

Labor’s decisive response may counter criticism it has not pushed back enough against rising instances of antisemitism since 7 October

I may have said this before but dead set, integrate child care in to the education system and get private operators out of the sector. It isn't the cure but the privatisation of early childhood is a massive net negative.

I will not be taking rent seeker correspondence on this one.

The iron ore industry pays billions more in royalties than the oil and gas industry.

So why does oil and gas get special treatment?

AFR column on how "bad" the changes to super tax weirdly explains that the changes won't affect pretty much everyone.(except the super rich)

Got your super in an industry or retail fund? (ie all of us). You're fine, you don't have "unrealised capital gains" so carry on.

Thanks Donald - a progressive government elected in Aus.

We will be a better country as a result of your disgusting second term in the US.

Culture wars, hate and division have been rejected here.

Our future is bright.

For those Liberal Party voters who still think the Libs are a moderate "centre right" party, under Dutton they've voted with Pauline Hanson's One Nation 93% of the time during this last parliament. There's minimal difference between the Libs & Nats AND One Nation. #auspol #AusVotes25 #PutTheLibsLast
