My feisty pup had a rough 3 weeks! Something may have been lodged into his foot and it got much worse before it got better… the creepy part was when his pad was split in two! He's fine now, but it took daily rebandaging and two rounds of antibiotics to heal. He's now a very docile little fella.

What happened to Senator Padilla is horrifying. When will this administration stop with its authoritarian overreach?

Senator Padilla was driven violently to his knees–as if made to kneel before the authority of the executive–because the administration called his questions “disrespectful”.

This should offend not just the other 99 Senators. It should offend the conscience of this country.

Nothing reveals the moral damage of 45 years of neoliberalism more than the sight of top law firms kneeling to Trump. No loyalty to country, no communal purpose, just pure self-interest.

The entire legal profession should have stood together in solidarity.

I'm sure no one even thought of it.
This is an historic character-test moment for Americans in many powerful and/or lucrative jobs—like partners at big law firms. Who as “officers of the court” have an ethical & legal responsibility to uphold the legal system’s integrity. So far three firms are passing the test and two have failed.1/3
