Trust the unqualified, incompetent, self-serving & profiteering idiots instead?
RFK Jr: We need to stop trusting the experts... Trusting the experts is not a feature of science or democracy, it's a feature of religion and totalitarianism.

Not sure if true, but I read a few years ago that in the Kremlin they sometimes use typewriters for security rather than computers (maybe urban myth)

I did all my exams with a fountain pen - I'm sure it helped me write a little bit quicker as it slid over the paper so easily compared to a biro.

Sad news about the passing of Jane Goodall. My favourite story is about her and the cartoonist Gary Larson. He published this cartoon which her Institute objected to whilst she was away. On her return she said she loved it, and she and Larson became good friends. screenrant.com/far-side-con...

I can't be the only Brit whose first thought when I saw the statue of Trump and Epstein in the US was "this looks like a statue of Morecambe and Wise!"

I'm in the UK and my first thought when I saw this was "this looks like a statue of Morecambe and Wise!" (famous and much-loved British comic double act, working most successfully in television).

Lib Dem leader Davey: “The Government needs to block any future contracts with Tesla, and block Musk from being granted a license to supply energy to British homes

“Ministers should make clear that if you are egging on violence on the streets of the UK, you are not someone we can do business with.”

It should be simple: people who cheer on violence in the UK can't enrich themselves with British taxpayers’ money.

That means Elon Musk – no government contracts for you, no energy supply license for you.
