Once upon a time, South Park had a good solution to celebrity casting: Offer them a role that they're likely to turn down because it would be considered "beneath them" and if they show up and do it, THEN you can cast them as something significant.

People need to get more comfortable with shame: you see a person in need and can't help. It feels bad. It SHOULD feel bad. The solution is not to invent some wild slander about them to quiet the little voice in your head screaming about how wrong it all is.

I just found out that my child’s other parent’s parents bought him a condo & all he has to pay is the HOA fees. So they have three homes total now (my kid’s grandparents) while I worry daily about being houseless if I can’t make it through the year w/no support system to speak of. I’m salty ASF!! 😤
