I'm not sure who it would help or hurt in city elections, but I have a feeling Truth in Taxation notices in Mpls that come out later in November are going to be rough.

Downtown office values have fallen pretty severely again. More to shoulder for homeowners.

Edina city staff are recommending denial for the proposal to add a second floor to the current Barrio building at 50th and France, which is slated to become a Daniel del Prado restaurant.

They say the addition requires them to find more parking since it will increase capacity.

There's a growing concern that Normandale Lake Office Park – one of the most valuable properties in MN — is going to deteriorate because of a maneuver by an out of state investor.

One of the five Bloomington towers just sold at 4% of its 2022 sale price. Expect more of that

Is there a corner in Minneapolis where businesses turn over more than Lyn-Lake?

I know a couple recent spaces have remained vacant (Herkimer & Bikes & Boards), but for the most part it's a revolving door.

I know this will never happen, but if ever there was a time for Minneapolis and St. Paul to merge into one city, now would be that time.

Why local developers aren't building apartments anymore. A case study.

Flux Apartments in Uptown (pictured here). 216 units

2019: Sold for $54M
Tuesday: Sold for $36.1M

That's $167,000 per unit.

If you wanted to build Flux today it would likely cost in the ballpark of $71M or $330K per unit.
