I'm not sure who runs it, but it's this cage right here on 5th Street. I noticed it when biking to a Vikings game in Sept.

Edina city staff are recommending denial for the proposal to add a second floor to the current Barrio building at 50th and France, which is slated to become a Daniel del Prado restaurant.

They say the addition requires them to find more parking since it will increase capacity.

There's a growing concern that Normandale Lake Office Park – one of the most valuable properties in MN — is going to deteriorate because of a maneuver by an out of state investor.

One of the five Bloomington towers just sold at 4% of its 2022 sale price. Expect more of that

I LOL'd at this in @racketmn.com and I promise it wasn't me!

But also, I very disappointed that the local alt-weekly folks aren't experts on this topic (based on their story about trying edibles a ways back)

Why local developers aren't building apartments anymore. A case study.

Flux Apartments in Uptown (pictured here). 216 units

2019: Sold for $54M
Tuesday: Sold for $36.1M

That's $167,000 per unit.

If you wanted to build Flux today it would likely cost in the ballpark of $71M or $330K per unit.

Yeah that is certainly not the case at all.

I do think — as the numbers show — it did slow St. Paul development in the period between voters approving it (Nov. 2021) and interest rates skyrocketing (late 2022).

That was a prime time for developers to build in the metro.

Mortenson has submitted plans for the first building in a planned 12-acre innovation hub near the U of M's Huntington Bank Stadium.

It's a 10-story office tower with ground floor retail

Should Minneapolis start inspecting every rental unit annually?

If so, it would charge landlords $1,152 per year (instead of $126) and it would need to find $18.9M in startup costs.

As I wrote about this week, Minnesota is banning junk fees starting Jan. 1, but it looks like Ticketmaster is getting a bit of a head start because you now can see (almost) the full price of a ticket ahead of time
