Yusuf Akhamrich has scored 4 goals this season, 3 of them in the last two games.
All 4 goals have been scored at the Memorial Ground but only 3 for #BristolRovers.
His other goal this season came for Spurs when they played at Rovers in the EFL Trophy back in August.

If you have a #Euroleague TV subscription in the UK, they are now also showing games from the Italian League (Italian comms only).
Currently watching a cracking game between Milan and Brescia.

Not recorded any episodes for the podcast for a bit as been out of action, but hopefully have some coming shortly.
Attended the London Lions v Ratiopharm Ulm game last night and spoke to a number of people about getting them on the podcast.
If all goes well, recording the first one soon!

What a win for London Lions in EuroCup, beating Besiktas in overtime!
The Turkish side came into the game top of the group, and are also unbeaten in the Turkish league, so this is huge scalp for the Lions!
It's the 3rd time that they've beaten Besiktas in 4 lifetime meets, but this is the biggest.

The NBA Europe project dominates the headlines in European basketball, but will it happen? We don't know and we also don't know the answer to a lot of questions surrounding it, but it's not going to stop us asking them! Especially when it comes to the UK's role.

Did a little test yesterday and the YouTube account is now linked to the RSS feed.
All missing episodes have been added and from now on, they will automatically port over, saving me having to do a separate version. 🥳

1/2 Haven't been able to upload the Euro Step Brit Podcast to YouTube for a while but finally sorted the issue. Hopefully it also means the stats can be collated from it as well now. But it won't start until the next episode is released and it filters into YouTube via the RSS feed.
So for now...

I thought this was going to turn into a story needing its own True Crime Netflix series, but no.
This is quite something.

Was great that The Euro Step Brit Podcast got a shout out on the latest episode of the Sunday Night Breakdown.
Thanks to @danroutledge.bsky.social & @shieldsbrief.bsky.social for the mention.
It's a great pod, ideal for breaking down all the SLB games.

❌ Ban home fireworks
🎆 Permit licensed firework displays
🛩️Encourage silent fireworks/drone displays

I'll be accused of being another "if in doubt, ban it" merchant, and it would be a fair challenge. But home fireworks cause enough harm and suffering to humans and animals to warrant a ban.

are talking about.

Today’s fun tax tip…

(It’s a similarly daft situation that railways pay tax on fuel/energy but airlines don’t pay any tax on their aviation fuel, a huge hidden subsidy)

Private jets don't pay fuel tax. Now I don't either.

Recorded a podcast episode during the AWS outage last week. Assumed at time - after skimming audio - that it was all good. Turns out when editing there was a couple of issues.
A long edit later, we're finally ready to go. Euro Step Brit subscribers will be notified first!
