A reminder that thanks to the no good terrible very bad Supreme Court decision in INS v. Chadha, this is subject to a veto. He'll be annoyed by having to veto it, that's what they were trying to avoid. But even if both houses pass it, that's what will happen.
PASSED: the House just passed the resolution to end Trump's tariffs on Canada.

Not many crosses from Republicans, a lot of vulnerable incumbents took a dumb vote here to stick with Trump and GOP leadership. Goes to the Senate, which is likely to pass it.

Will share the vote sheet when I have it!

The House just voted 219-211 to reverse Trump’s destructive tariffs on Canada. Tariffs are taxes on consumers. The Senate should do the same before it breaks. Dare Trump to veto it. Tariffs raise prices needlessly. Do Mexico next.

Pam Bondi has been a complete and total failure at her job. The Epstein survivors showed more courage just by being in that room than she did under oath. She refused to answer questions and chose complicity.

America deserves better.

Does he think service members should follow orders regardless of whether the orders are lawful?

If he is uncomfortable with service members making these calls, what is the Article I branch going to do to shutdown illegal operations like the boat strikes?
Mike Johnson: "A line is crossed and it's very serious when you have leaders here in the Senate and House effectively telling members of the military to defy orders. It's a very dangerous gambit they were playing. Should they be sent to jail? Probably not."

It’s extraordinary that the President of the United States upended a major project involving extensive trade and cooperation with an important ally right after a billionaire pal chatted with a cabinet member, who then apparently had a quick word with Trump about the situation, and everyone yawns.
Remarkable: Trump's deranged threat to block the bridge connecting Detroit to Canada is backfiring, giving Dems a big issue in 2026 races in Michigan, which could help decide control of Congress.

Michigan Dems tell me they'll use this against Republicans big time:
