Former Texas Lege reporter here. A Dem hasn't held this seat since 1990. Tarrant is the safest of red suburban counties. There is no way the TX and national GOP aren't in panic mode right now.

Taylor Rehmet wins against Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist who helped lead right-wing efforts to take over TX school boards.
With all early vote, and 95% of precincts, in, Dem up 57/43.
Trump won this seat by 17% in Tarrant County.

I'm glad I only came back from my weekend trip with a cold, rather than COVID or the flu (Tuesday night was not pretty, y'all), but the whole mucus sneezy coughy mechanism has to be one of the stupidest things bodies do.

They make a pretty penny on merch, which is mostly advertised on Facebook (their FB audience is way bigger). That's part of what separates AltNPS from the other altgov accounts, all of whom seem consistently annoyed at AltNPS's behavior.

I limit this stuff on my feed, because we all know what's going on. But are you fucking kidding me? Lady, live on $3 a meal and then come tell us how great it is. Do you have oil or butter to cook the chicken or is it steamed like broccoli? Are you allowed to have salt? Is your other thing despair?
