Hmm. Lost access to my account in a phone meltdown. Yes, here I am, as Lyle sings, a dedicated Fajita.
Per Google Translate:

The same rhetoric as the neo-Nazis of the French far right... Housing for the French, not for "dark-skinned" people with accents.

#FarRight🤮

They do all follow the same playbook. The one developed by American public relations experts Finkelstein and Birnbaum for Orban.

"If the government may simply seize *someone* without due process, there is no check on its ability to seize *anyone*."

Perhaps the most fundamental check against tyranny. And it is gravely threatened.
BONUS RULING: Judge Thomas Johnston, a George W. Bush appoiintee in West Virginia, used a recent ruling to warn of the dangers of defying due process for immigrants because of what it could also mean for Americans. It's worth a read.

Sorry, this is a pay-walled NYT article, but you can get the gist.
Literally searching for outgroups to scare people about

"That has left the G.O.P. looking for ways to address its voters’ concerns over the number of immigrants who came into the country during the Biden admin. while avoiding the increasingly unpopular policy of mass deportations under Mr. Trump."

Republican lawmaker's word salad. Salad MAGAs without critical thinking love to consume.

By the way, love love love the troll under the bridge.
At first glance thought he said “The proceeds of trolls” which frankly would make as much sense. If not more, actually. We need to take a harder line on international bridge trolls.
Trade Representative Jamieson Greer on Trump's bonkers US-Canada bridge tantrum: "There's a valid concern on the part of the president that this bridge was allowed to be built, they didn't necessarily use American content. There's a question as to the proceeds of tolls."

Again, there's no problem with election security. People most likely to not have a birth certificate? Seniors born at home back when that was the norm. Seniors whose birth records were kept at places like rural churches and lost.

Republicans seek to limit voting in any way possible. Margins close.

There are millionaires being elected to Congress, but nobody talks about people who have no hope of ever earning as much in the real world.

Every time Congress votes itself a raise it increases the number of unqualified grifters willing to run for office.
